Gavin, the San Francisco radio trade, is in jeopardy and will most probably cease publishing if a new buyer is not found. United Business Media, the British company that purchased the magazine from founder Bill Gavin, is pulling the plug. With radio consolidation, the subscription base has been dwindling over the past few years. Attendance has also drastically been decreased at the Gavin Radio Seminar over the past few years. The magazine was founded in 1958.
