For the past two decades, David Fishof Presents Inc. (DFP) has been a music industry pioneer and innovator‹responsible for producing some of the world's most original and successful live shows. 2000 has been a banner year for DFP and arguably it's most productive. Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band (conceived by DFP eleven years ago) hit the road for the sixth time, teaming up with sponsors Century 21 and Charles Schwab. DFP recently produced a 3-set compilation CD containing "Ringo and His All-Starr Band's Anthology‹So Far," for worldwide release. As always, the All-Starr Band reads like a who's who of rock and roll royalty, with line-ups that have included Jack Bruce, Eric Carmen, Dave Edmunds, Simon Kirke, Mark Rivera, Randy Bachman, Gary Brooker, Clarence Clemmons, John Entwistle, Peter Frampton, Levon Helm, Billy Preston, Nils Lofgren, Dr. John, Joe Walsh and many others. During the 2000 campaign, another DFP creation, "British Rock Symphony" (which features a rotating roster of guest vocalists including; Alice Cooper, Jon Anderson, Peter Frampton, Roger Daltrey and Paul Rodgers, among others), hit the road, touring the U.S., South America and Australia. An album (on the Universal label) and a DVD were produced and a national TV concert will air on PBS in June 2001. This groundbreaking production, which was formed in 1998 and performs the music of seminal rock bands like the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Who, and The Rolling Stones, features an orchestra and a gospel choir as well as it's celebrated rock-n-roll lineup. The year 2000 also found DFP reuniting "The Monkees" for their first tour in five years (a fifteen-city, U.S. tour is scheduled for March of 2001). An album, movie and television appearances are also in the works. DFP originally brought the band back together in 1986 for their first reunion tour, which was a huge success, selling out amphitheatres and arenas all over the United States. In 1988 David produced "Dirty Dancing: The Concert Tour", which traveled three continents and featured the movie's original dancers and assorted talent, including: Bill Medley and Eric Carmen. In late 1989, DFP paired up with VH-1 to produce "Dick Clark's American Bandstand Anniversary Tour." The 100-city tour featured The Spinners, The Association, The Guess Who and the Drifters. "It was the Happy Together Tour's of 1984 and 1985 that spurned me into this business of packaging tours" says Fishof. "Back then a tour would consist of 125 shows." The family show market also proved to be an area of Fishof's expertise. In conjunction with famed producer Kenneth Feld, he produced the "American Gladiator Live Tour" in 1991, selling out arenas throughout the country. The success of that show prompted Fishof to produce the "Mortal Kombat Live Tour" in '95, which traveled around the world. In 1997 Fishof produced his original "Rock And Roll Fantasy Camp" in Florida. Guest instructors including Mike Love, Lou Gramm (Foreigner), and twenty other rock stars who taught and shared their stories and tips with guest and media types. "People Magazine", "Time", and "Newsweek" all hailed the camp a huge success. The Tonight Show and other TV shows made reference to the camp nightly. This has led to Hollywood taking notice and a motion picture is in the works. DFP is more than just entertainment however; it has also made its mark in the world of professional sports. David Fishof has personally represented such sports legends as Phil Simms, Lou Piniella, Phil McConkey, Mark Bavaro, Dave Magaden, Randy Myers and many others. Fishof also represents media personalities including CNBC David Faber and Fox TV Reporter Rick Leventhal. David is also responsible for creating the NFL's most successful marketing program, "NFL Quarterback Club". He has also authored a best-selling book Putting it on the Line (published by William Morrow). Fishof's promotional efforts have also lent themselves to charitable causes. In 1995, after visiting war-torn Bosnia, he assembled the original members of Grand Funk Railroad to perform with a symphony orchestra for three sold-out shows and a CD, the proceeds of which went to Bosnian war victims.
