Kymberlee Knight has headed the International Entertainment Buyers Association (IEBA) as Executive Director for the past three years. IEBA is the only association of its kind for entertainment professionals active in buying, selling, producing, managing, and promoting artists and entertainment venues. IEBA members buy over 350-million-dollars in entertainment annually and are located throughout the U.S., Canada, U.K. and Australia. Membership is open to all professionals in the entertainment industry. Kymberlee directs the day-to-day operation as well as coordinates the annual 4-day conference which features all access industry awards, celebrity awards, over 30 speakers, a showcase of acts, and auction of an artist or group date. The 2000 "World of Talent" Conference bestowed awards on legend performer Lou Rawls, Loretta Lynn, and Leroy Van Dyke. The Oak Ridge Boys auction raised money for IEBA's scholarship fund for college students majoring in music business. The 2001 Conference will be held in October in Nashville. Prior to heading IEBA as Executive Director, Kymberlee was associated with the Lou Thompson Advertising Agency of Evansville, IN and Nashville, TN, handling client relations (Harlem Globetrotters, Holiday On Ice, Ellis Park Race Track), media events, radio/TV commercial production, and talent for radio/TV commercials and programming. During this time she performed as vocalist with the Kymberlee Knight Band. She attended the University of Evansville on a music scholarship, majoring in communications and music, and was a majorette in the marching band.
