Peter is co-founder and President of CelebrityAccess. Peter runs the Boulder, Colorado company headquarters and is primarily responsible for directing and administering the day-to-day activities of the company and to plan for its overall future. Peter is also directly responsible for the company's marketing & sales and the development and operation of the CelebrityAccess website. Previously, Peter was founder, President, CEO, and the major shareholder of Spring Point Corporation, a New York City based office products manufacturing company. After founding the company in 1987 as a one-man operation, the company grew to over $10M per year in sales and over 70 employees. The company earned the distinction of being one of the country's largest office product recycling companies. Peter was also Vice President and a director of the International Cartridge Recycler's Association, a trade association representing the office products industry. As an association board member, Peter worked with other major manufacturers such as Hewlett Packard, IBM, and Lexmark to develop an agenda that is currently utilized to raise public perception of recycled products. In the fall of 1997, Spring Point Corporation was sold to Mitsubishi America and Peter moved out of New York to Boulder, Colorado where he now resides with his wife and three children. Peter is a graduate of Clark University and began his career working for The Centrum in Worcester, Massachusetts. As an assistant to the Director of Marketing, it was Peter's responsibility to aid in the promotion of events for the 19,000-seat arena. In 1985 Peter accepted a position with the William Morris Agency and pursued a career in the entertainment business. Working directly with the head of the music department, Peter was responsible for planning and routing domestic and international tours for such well-know entertainers as The Beach Boys, Joan Jett, Ted Nugent, Rodney Dangerfield, and Billy Joel. Later, Peter moved on from WMA to help start QBQ Entertainment where he spent the next year building the new agency and booking shows. Peter believes that the need for accurate and up-to-date information has provided an opportunity for CelebrityAccess. For the first time, entertainment industry professionals have access to real-time data ‹ an essential component for success in such a volatile industry. Future plans for CelebrityAccess include additional databases such as venues, publicists, concert support services, music publishing companies and more. Also intended are additional on-line tools to simplify and standardize everyday business practices. Peter believes that CelebrityAccess exists for, and because of, its members. In that light, he encourages the membership to continue to provide the company with constructive feedback and suggestions for the future. Peter can be contacted at pdenholtz@celebrityaccess.com.
