Personally Identifiable Information: What do we collect and why?

CelebrityAccess collects personally identifiable information from our users for a number of reasons: to contact visitors who have requested more information about our services, to provide a weekly live-entertainment industry email newsletter and/or periodic marketing and information emails to those users who have chosen to receive these mailings, to maintain profiles about our members and periodically contact them regarding their membership, and to process payment for our services.

Virtual Tours and Free Trial Requests

Visitors who are interested in learning more about CelebrityAccess are invited to take a self-guided Virtual Tour and/or to request a Free Trial of our service. In each case, we ask the visitor to provide us with some basic information including their name, company, and email address. This information is used to contact the visitor to provide them with further information about our service and, if appropriate, assistance enrolling for a Free Trial.

Email: ENCORE and Marketing Materials

When you submit your email address to us, you have the option to subscribe to any of our email lists. You may choose to receive our weekly live-entertainment industry newsletter, ENCORE, and/or periodic marketing emails regarding CelebrityAccess and other reputable, entertainment industry related organizations that may be of interest to you. We will never add your email address to any of our email lists without your permission.

If at any time you wish to be removed from one of our email lists, please notify us by either replying to one of our emails with the word "REMOVE" typed in the subject line of your reply or by clicking here. Additionally, to remove yourself from the ENCORE email list, you may go here and provide us with the email address to be removed. All removal requests will be handled promptly.

Membership Information

If you choose to enroll for a Free Trial of our service or to subscribe to CelebrityAccess, we will ask you to provide us with further contact information about yourself for our records (such as job title, business telephone and fax numbers, and business address). This information becomes a part of your Member Profile, along with your User Name and Personal Password. During your membership, we may use this information to contact you periodically for customer service purposes (for example, to send you a welcome package, notify you of your approaching subscription end date, periodically inquire about your satisfaction with our service, provide technical assistance, notify you of upcoming changes to our site, or inform you of changes and/or additions to the services we offer). When we communicate with you over the phone or by email, that communication is logged in your Member Profile so that we may easily reference your customer service history and use this information to better serve you in the future.

We encourage you to keep your Member Profile up-to-date. If at any time you wish to update your Member Profile information, please contact us by email or by phone at 860-536-5700. Only you or the Primary Contact responsible for your organization's subscription may request a change to your Member Profile information. We will always verify the identity of the requesting party before honoring requests.

Subscription Payment

We prefer that subscriptions to CelebrityAccess be paid for by credit card. If you choose to use this method of payment when subscribing, you will be asked to provide us with current credit card information including your card number, expiration date, billing address, and Card Verification Code. This information will be submitted for processing through Authorize.Net, a secure, third party payment-processing gateway. Authorize.Net will securely share your information, using SSL encryption, with banks and credit card processors as necessary to authorize and process your payment. IP Addresses and Cookies

We log users' IP addresses, browser types, and pages viewed for both specific and general administration reasons. If you are a member of CelebrityAccess, either through a temporary Free Trial of our service or because you have purchased a subscription, your IP address will be logged in your Member Profile each time you access our website. This allows us to provide you with better customer service and to ensure that the website is used in accordance with our Terms of Service. The user information we collect is also used in a general manner to administer our website, gather demographic information, and track and compile site usage information in order to improve our service.

We use "cookies", small text files stored on your computer, to recognize our members when they visit CelebrityAccess. This saves our members from having to log in each time they return to our website and allows us to identify their email addresses for use with our RapidAccess email system. These cookies are not used to collect additional personal information about our members and can only be read by CelebrityAccess' web servers.
