 | Lamb Of God | Call for availability - Summer 2010 - The roots of Lamb of God were planted in 1990 when Mark Morton, Chris Adler and John Campbell were floor mates at Virginia Commonwealth University. The trio began playing at Adler's house in Richmond weathering chilly conditions. "There was no heat at the house," recalls Campbell. "We would freeze our asses off, get really drunk and hang around the kerosene heaters trying to write metal songs. Kerosene fumes and Black Label beer were definitely what fueled our early days."
| | The O'jays | Call for availability - “Give the People What They Want” is just one of the O’Jays many signature hits. But its message also doubles as the secret behind the trio’s remarkable 50-year career. Known for hits including “Back Stabbers,” “Love Train,” “For the Love of Money,” “Livin’ for the Weekend,” “Let Me Make Love to You,” “Stairway to Heaven,” and “Used Ta Be My Girl.”
| | Darker My Love | Call for availability - Spring 2010 - Once upon a time, there lived a group of revelers who made their homes along the sparkling landscape of the California coast. Amidst the glitter of the ocean and the sun-lit haze of the morning, they began to make music together, drenching their guitars in blissed-out fuzz, their drums pulsing and crashing like waves, and stretching echoing harmonies sky-high. And with each distorted squeal of feedback, with each note drifting upward and heavenward, gleaming in the shards of California sunlight, as if it were meant for divine intervention: Darker My Love was born. | | The Life and Times | Call for availability - 2010 - Since The Life and Times formed, oh, roughly 1,825 days ago and began disarming audiences and critics with unbelievably loud yet relentlessly beautiful music, the main constant for the band has been how uncategorizable they've remained. Sure, they're a "rock band", but one that skirts the boundaries of this word in each song, tipping their collective cap to the giants that loom in each melody. | | Peking Acrobats | Call for availability - January through April 2011 - North America - Winter/Spring 2011 marks the 25th North American Tour of The Peking
Acrobats®. The anniversary program features the Women’s Peace
Orchestra of China, and many new surprises. Touring January
through April from West to East to Midwest. | | Joey Dee & the Starliters | Call for availability - New York & Surroundng States - 2010 - Hit Songs... Peppermint Twist... Shout... What Kind Of Love Is This... Plus Many More... | | The Bottle Rockets | Call for availability - 2010 - The Bottle Rockets formed in 1993 and quickly rose to prominence in the field of "Americana/Alternative Country" music by creating uniquely crafted songs about "everyday life." "The Greatest Bar Band in America," as the press early in their career called them, although intended as a compliment, actually led to many misconceptions about the band. Often times inaccurately labeled as simply a "loud, good-time, party" band, the Bottle Rockets are, and always have been about writing good songs. 2006 will bring a new release on Chicago based label, Bloodshot Records. | | Stacey Kent | Call for availability - June 7 - 10, 2010 - THE TENDER TRAP follows the success of her debut recording, CLOSE YOUR EYES, as Stacey Kent continues to enhance her standing among Britain's most popular top jazz performers. CLOSE YOUR EYES has received rave reviews and extensive air play, becoming one of Britain's biggest selling jazz records in 1997. It has also appeared on various critics' "top ten" lists for 1997, including those from Jazziz and Jazz Journal. |

The Ting Tings (AP) | ARTIST SNAPSHOT: The Ting Tings NEW YORK (AP) - It all started in a bedroom in Manchester, England. Undeterred by the sound of nearby construction wafting through the window, Katie White and Jules de Martino were poised to make a do-it-yourself record, not knowing, or caring, what would come of their sonic potential.
That was in 2008. Two years later, the British pop duo, who named themselves The Ting Tings, have gone from virtual obscurity to global pop stars.
Their debut record, "We Started ...more | |
