3 and TwentyCall for Availability - 2015 / 2016 - 3 and Twenty’s music transcends the limited boundaries of traditional and contemporary genres. It is Country at its highest evolutionary level that cross reverberates with a unique blend of hip hop, southern rock, and R&B. Combine their passion for song writing with a high energy, must see live show, and you have something that can’t be explained… it must be experienced. Staying true to their country roots, their writing is influenced by legendary artists like Hank Williams Jr., Johnny Cash, Alabama, and Lynyrd Skynyrd; combine that with hip hop influences like Bone Thugs N Harmony and Dr.Dre, then add soulful harmonies inspired by Boyz II Men and Brian McKnight and you’ll appreciate the eclectic, good ol' boy, rowdy back-road realism with a touch of “southern swang” (southern swagger with a twang) that makes 3 and Twenty appealing to all demographics. To give some perspective, Stone Cold Steve Austin recently had this to say about 3 and Twenty on his pod cast show, "After listening to their album 20 times, I hear Keith Whitley, George Straight, Blues Traveler, GD hip hop, elements of rap, I hear Merle, I hear bad ass country, I hear 3 and Twenty. I hear different influences, I said "man this is a bad ass album. It's country, but it's a lot more than country". They are country boys, cranking out a fresh ass bad ass sound. You will also hear some Kid Rock in there... all kinds off stuff in there. They are bad ass and funky, but its down home bad ass music".
The Other TribeCall for Availability - 2015 - It starts with darkness, and then the drums. The throb of sub-bass slowly looping it's way out the system sucks you in, and then erupts into an onslaught of pounding beats, wild colour, explosive synths and sheer dance-or-die tribal energy. It's hard to understate – or forget – the force of your initiation into The Other Tribe.
The ReflectionsCall for Availability - December 5-8 & 10-13, 2015 - FL - The Reflections! The legendary "Deacons of Doo Wop" are still one of the most widely requested Doo Wop acts in the world! Based out of Detroit, MI, and still featuring original lead singer Tony Micale and their original bass singer John Dean, The Reflections are joined by veteran members Gary Banovetz (from The Larados) and Joey Finazzo (from The Seminoles). Their 1964 blockbuster hit “Just Like Romeo & Juliet” is an oldies anthem loved by millions worldwide!

Their first hit, "Just Like Romeo & Juliet," was a multi-million seller, and in quick succession, The Reflections continued to dominate the charts with "Shabby Little Hut," "Poor Man's Son" and "Like Columbus Did."

Foreign FieldsCall for Availability - Summer / Fall 2015 - To Support - Foreign Fields, two prodigal sons of Wisconsin, create humble folk songs carefully wrapped with celestial sensibilities. Brian Holl and Eric Hillman met in their musical infancy and fostered a special creative connection. Though close friends and artistic partners, the two have walked seemingly polar life paths, creatively converging on some unseen schedule to produce profound works of beauty. After attending college in Chicago and Boston separately, the two reunited in Nashville in 2010 and while navigating the particularly bittersweet beauty of young manhood, they began weaving a musical tapestry. The resulting record, Anywhere But Where I Am, was released with humble expectation but was immediately met with widespread critical acclaim. After the tours and fanfare had quieted a bit, Foreign Fields have changed and grown, and they’ve begun weaving another tapestry. There are new stories to tell of love, fatherhood and personal expansion – new questions to ask about self, growth and God.
Wayne Baker BrooksCall for Availability - 2015 / 2016 - Wayne Baker Brooks, son of the legendary bluesman Lonnie Brooks, has been steeped in the blues all his life. Although he was raised by his famous father, he is self-taught and has been blazing his own musical trail. In 1998, he co-authored the book, Blues For Dummies with his father, rocker Cub Koda and Dan Aykroyd. In 2003 Brooks started his own label, Blues Island Records. His first release was the four-star "Mystery."
Nick MossCall for Availability - 2015 / 2016 - “Nick’s just got it in him... The blues feeling ain’t nothing you can teach someone. He’s just got that feeling.” —Jimmy Rogers, late great guitarist
Al Chez & The Brothers of FunkCall for availability - 9/16/15-9/23/15 - IL, WI, IA, NE, IN, MO - 16 piece rock big band led by former Letterman/Shaffer trumpeter/vocalist.
Beach HouseCall for Availability - 2015 / 2016 - Beach House is Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally. We have been a band for over a decade living and working in Baltimore, MD. Depression Cherry is our 5th full-length record. This record follows the release of our self-titled album in 2006, Devotion in 2008, Teen Dream in 2010 and Bloom in 2012. Depression Cherry was recorded at Studio in the Country in Bogalusa, Louisiana from November '14 through January '15. This time period crossed the anniversaries of both John Lennon's and Roy Orbison's death. In general, this record shows a return to simplicity, with songs structured around a melody and a few instruments, with live drums playing a far lesser role. With the growing success of Teen Dream and Bloom, the larger stages and bigger rooms naturally drove us towards a louder, more aggressive place; a place farther from our natural tendencies. Here, we continue to let ourselves evolve while fully ignoring the commercial context in which we exist.

Harvey Kubernik This week In the Hot Seat with Harvey Kubernik, author/historian/music journalist.

Harvey Kubernik is a Los Angeles native who is a damn tough interview.

Not that he doesn’t answer a question, he does; but there’s a journalistic nakedness that Kubernik displays, and it’s a lot to deal with.
